Assessor's Office to appraise Lebanon properties

ALBANY — Staff representing the Linn County Assessor’s and Taxation Office have begun reappraising properties within the city limits of Lebanon, according to Chief Appraiser Matthew Pitcher.

Pitcher said the process — which could involve as many as 6,000 properties — will take several months.

Pitcher said the appraisers will work Monday through Friday and they will have county identification badges, business cards and be traveling in county vehicles.
