Public invited to comment on wildfire protection plan

Linn County is seeking public input on the draft version of the 2024 Linn County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP).

The CWPP is a guiding document that identifies projects related to wildfire preparedness and mitigation throughout the County.

The plan is available to read and download at the project webpage on the Linn County website: https://www.linncountyor.gov/planningbuilding/page/community-wildfire-protection-plan or bit.ly/linncwpp.

Anyone is welcome to submit comments, feedback, or suggested corrections through the Feedback Form until 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

Your feedback will be shared at the next CWPP Steering Committee meeting for consideration.
